For New Patients
Your first visit will take about 60-90 minutes. This gives us time to perform a comprehensive exam, take digital X-rays, complete an oral cancer screening, discuss your dental history and goals, and (when gum health allows) provide a professional cleaning.
Dr. Allison Bartley will review findings with you, show images from our intraoral cameras, and build a written treatment plan for anything that needs attention. You will leave with a clear picture of your oral health and the estimated cost of any recommended work.

New Patient Forms
New patient paperwork can be completed in-office or sent to you in advance. Contact us to request forms by email or text message.
For Returning Patients
Your recall visit is typically 45-60 minutes and includes a professional cleaning with your hygienist, updated X-rays when due, and a check-in with Dr. Allison Bartley. If you have concerns between visits, call us. Many questions can be answered over the phone, and urgent issues can usually be scheduled within a day or two.

We schedule appointments Monday through Saturday with evening availability on Tuesdays.

Emergency Care
Dental emergencies happen. If you have a severe toothache, broken tooth, lost crown, or swelling, call (847) 382-0700 as early in the day as possible. We reserve time daily for same-day emergency appointments.
For trauma requiring hospital-level care (broken jaw, uncontrolled bleeding, difficulty breathing), go to the nearest ER first and call us for dental follow-up.

Common Questions
How do I schedule my first appointment?
Call (847) 382-0700 during office hours, or request an appointment online. Our scheduling coordinator will ask a few questions about your dental history and any specific concerns, then match you with the right appointment type and time.
What if I am nervous about dental visits?
Let us know when you schedule. We offer nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation for anxious patients, and our team is experienced with dental anxiety. Many nervous patients find that a brief consultation visit (no treatment, just conversation) helps before any work begins.
Do you take walk-ins?
For emergencies, we do our best to fit patients in the same day. For routine appointments, scheduling ahead is strongly preferred because it allows us to block the right amount of time and have your chart and insurance ready.
How do I pay for treatment?
We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, Care Credit, and GreenSky financing. For insured patients, we bill your insurance directly when possible. Expected patient portions are discussed before treatment so there are no billing surprises.
Can I bring my child to my appointment?
Yes, and we also welcome children as patients. Our team is experienced with first dental visits for kids and with keeping them comfortable while a parent is being seen. Let us know if this is your plan so we can schedule accordingly.
